Ali Patterson

Constitutional Conservative.

Law & Order Republican.

Ali Upchurch Patterson is a lifelong Alabamian with deep roots in the Clanton community. She graduated from Thompson High School in 1998 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002. She then attended Cumberland School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor in 2005.

Ali began her legal career in Clanton with attorney William P. Boggs, practicing from 2005 to 2007. Not long after starting her career, she moved to Clanton and quickly made it her home. In October 2007, she opened her own law office and has been a sole practitioner ever since. Her practice includes a wide range of legal areas, including civil litigation, domestic relations, DHR dependency cases, and both felony and misdemeanor criminal defense. She is known for providing aggressive, zealous representation for all of her clients.

Ali is deeply engaged in community service and civic involvement. She has been a member of the Chilton County Bar Association since 2005, serving in various leadership roles, including President and currently as Secretary. She joined the Chilton County Republican Executive Committee in 2015 and served as Sergeant-at-Arms for two years. She has also been a member of the Alabama Supreme Court Standing Committee on Juvenile Procedure since 2021.

Her civic contributions include serving as Secretary of the Children's Policy Council of Chilton County from 2010 to 2017 and currently serving as Chairman. She was a member of the Clanton Kiwanis Club from 2015 to 2022 and has been a member of the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce since 2014. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, where she has been a member since 2018 and currently holds the role of Secretary. She also served on the Chilton County United Way Board from 2018 to 2019.

Ali has shared her legal knowledge publicly, appearing on WBRC/Fox 6’s Law Call in 2018 to discuss Family Law and take questions from viewers.

She and her husband, Eric, married in 2018 and enjoy raising their blended family in Clanton. Together, they have three sons: Fitz (13), Eathen (15), and Easton (11). The Patterson family attend Mulberry Baptist Church and enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and relaxing around a campfire.

I am ready to bring my two decades of legal experience to the bench to keep you, your family, and our community safe!
